He is survived by: his wife Ernestine Susan Dias (Panknin) of Woonsocket; his children, Joseph Dias, Jr. (Minire) of Woonsocket, Jane Gabriele (Jesse Lesieur) of Woonsocket and Michael R. Dias (Laura) of Mapleville; his siblings, Margarida Diogo of Woonsocket, Manuel Dias of Woonsocket, Antonio Dias of Portugal and Emilia Lambert of North Smithfield; his grandchildren, Ariana Gabriele and Tyler Dias; and his pets, Zeus and Gracie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
