It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John M. Lahousse of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, who passed away on March 27, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John M. Lahousse to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lionel Lahousse and Adele Lahousse (Belleville); and his brother Peter Lahousse. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Lahousse (Gagne); his children, Christopher Lahousse (Susan) of Cumberland, Brian Lahousse (Brooke) of Bellingham, Jenny of Woonsocket and Jeremy Lahousse of Woonsocket; and his siblings, Jane Iskierski (Joe) of Woonsocket, Celeste Fregeau (Norman) of Woonsocket, George Lahousse (Muriel) of Douglas, David Lahousse (Donna) of Woonsocket, Debra Okruta (Pete) of North Smithfield and Lisa Ryan (Joe) of Blackstone. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Holt Funeral Home (510 S Main St, Woonsocket, RI 02895). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (1220 Mendon Rd, Woonsocket, RI 02895). A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at the St. James Cemetery.
Due to the compassionate care given to John and the entire family, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, Providence.
