John C. Briere Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 9, 2024, John C. Briere of Woonsocket, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurele Briere and Claire Briere (Cavanaugh); his son John Briere, Jr.; and his siblings, Thomas, David Briere, Jeannette Hazinski and Lucille Turgeon.
He is survived by: his spouse Claire Briere (Laberge); his son Arthur Briere of Woonsocket; his siblings, William Briere of Diamond Head, MS, Raymond Briere of Richmond, TX and Paulette Martin of Lincoln; and his grandchildren, Erin and Dylan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holt Funeral Home (510 S Main St, Woonsocket, RI 02895). The military honors was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Providence VA Medical Center, 830 Chalkstone Ave, Providence, RI 02908.
