He was predeceased by: his father Edward M. Roy. He is survived by: his wife Lois Roy (Dandurand); his mother Nancy Roy (Maloney) of Woonsocket; his children, Christopher Roy (Julie) of Lincoln, Timothy Roy (Tanya) of Cumberland and Jamie Roy of Woonsocket; his sisters, Pamela Rufful of Sarasota, Holly Courtemanche of Dayville, Connecticut and Jennifer Houle of Dayville, Connecticut; and his grandchildren, Kirstie Roy, Amanda Roy, Emily Roy, Eric Roy, Ethan Roy, Elizabeth Roy, Ella Roy and Kyle Doyle.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bellows Funeral Chapel (160 River Rd, Lincoln, RI 02865). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Jude Church (301 Front St, Lincoln, RI 02865). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Notre Dame Cemetery (359 Daggett Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02861).
