He was predeceased by: his wife Silvia L. Tupaj (Vecoli); his parents, Stanley, Sr. Tupaj and Mildred Tupaj (Bullocks); and his brothers, Stanley "Hawk" Tupaj, Jr., Jasper Tupaj and David Tupaj.
He is survived by: his children, Keri L. Cadieux (Robert) of Woonsocket and Daniel G. Tupaj, Jr. (Deborah) of Pawtucket; his grandchildren, Jocelyn Tupaj, Katie Mikolajczyk (Massey) and Alexis Evans; his great grandchildren, Janelle, Jayden, Lily and Jayce; his sister Barbara Olean; and his sister-in-law Alice Tupaj of Putnam, CT. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
