Cecelia A. (Nessar) Morse Obituary
Cecelia A. (Nessar) Morse, age 90, of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter A. Morse, Sr., to whom she was wed for fifty-two years at the time of his death on July 20, 2016.
Born in Boston, MA on July 10, 1932, she was a loving daughter of the late Toufie and Nasema (Yazbeck) Nessar.
Cecelia grew up In the Hyde Park neighborhood of Hyde park and was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. She continued her education, receiving an associate's degree in secretarial services. She had made her home in Woonsocket for the past five years and was a former resident of Lehigh Acres, Florida, Holbrook and Hyde Park.
A dedicated homemaker to her loving family, who were truly the center and essence of her life, Cecelia could always be counted on to lend others in need a helping hand. While residing in Hyde Park, she was a communicant of the former Saint Adalbert's Church on River Street.
Cecelia's family would like to especially thank Andrea Murillo, Palleh Kerpeh, Deane Renfort, Maria Lako, Sheila Young and Grace Santos for the exceptional care and comfort given to her and whom she loved like her own family.
She was the devoted and much-loved mother of John J. Morse and his spouse Bruno Goncalves of Woonsocket and the late Walter A. Morse, Jr. She was the cherished grandmother of Chase A. Morse of Bellingham and Noah O. Morse of Saugus. She was the dear sister of the late Amelia Kirby, Helen Kelley, Paul Nessar, Peter Nessar and is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews, including Theresa Parker of Taunton.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Saturday, December 10th from 10:00-11:30 A.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street Mansfield.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday morning at the conclusion of visitation at 11:30 A.M. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
