He is survived by: his wife Theresa Nelson (LaFontaine); his children, Anne Metcalf of North Carolina, Cheryl Nelson of Foster, RI, Louise Fitzgerald (William) of Mendon, MA, Albert Nelson (Mary Evelyn) of Foster, RI, Theresa Briggs of Blackstone, MA and Lisa Chartier (Bruce) of Uxbridge, MA.; his sister Winona Bouthiette of Upton, MA; his grandchildren, Kara Briggs, Abagail, Ian and Connor Chartier; his stepgrandchildren, Kathryn Clark, Angela Schmidt, Ray Metcalf Jr. and Joshua Briggs; and his stepgreat-grandson Stephen Schmidt.
