It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne Acker Olsen (Westerly, Rhode Island), who passed away on March 19, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank L. Acker and Esther Anderson Acker; her husband John "Jack" Olsen; and her brothers, Frank Jr., Harold and Jordan.
She is survived by: her brother James Acker of Traverse City, MI; her children, Kenneth Olsen (Loretta) and Linda Olsen (Jack Cummings) of Madison, CT; her granddaughters, Jennifer Olsen, Taylor Olsen, Lindsay Van Steenbergen (Jon) of Brooklyn, NY and Leslie Winek (Max) of Pittsburg, PA; and her great grandchildren, Lennon, Lou and Avery. She is also survived by three step-grandchildren, a step great-grandson.
On March 19, 2025, Yvonne Acker Olsen, age 95, peacefully left this earth surrounded by members of her family after a long and valiant struggle with Alzheimer's Disease.
