Valerie R. Holliday Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2024, Valerie R. Holliday (Westerly, Rhode Island) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John E. "Jack" Holliday; her parents, George Gauthier and Rose Gauthier; and her brother Richard Gauthier. She is survived by: her children, James W. Cherenzia, Jr. of Florida and Laurie D. Cherenzia of Hopkinton, RI; her sister Diane Gauthier of Warwick, RI; her grandchildren, Brittaney Sullivan, Joshua Cherenzia and Jacob Cherenzia; and her great grandchildren, Gabbriella, Izzabella Sullivan, Olivia, Sophie, Grace and Zoey Cherenzia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home (59 Spruce St, Westerly, RI 02891). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Pius X Church (44 Elm St, Westerly, RI 02891).
