He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Townsend and Cecilia Townsend; his wife Donna Holliday Townsend; and his siblings, Linda and Stephen.
He is survived by: his sons, Jon Townsend (Christine) of North Stonington, CT, Todd Townsend (Ashley) of San Diego, CA and Ryan Townsend of Fort Meyers, FL; his siblings, Starr Kadlick and Kevin Townsend; and his grandchildren, Tessa, Leon and Hank.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home (59 Spruce St, Westerly, RI 02891).
