She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Pacheco and Maria Pacheco. She is survived by: her husband James J. Santos; her sons, David J. Santos (Brenda) of Pawcatuck and Timothy J. Santos (Magdalene) of Englewood, FL; her grandchildren, Daniel Santos, Joseph Santos and Sara Wolf (Douglas); and her great grandchild Eliza. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Hospice or the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center in Rita's memory.
