Michael McGuire Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael McGuire (Westerly, Rhode Island), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Michael farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Michael is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Denis McGuire and Margaret McGuire; and his brother James McGuire. He is survived by: his wife Susan McGuire (Finch) of Woodlund Avenue; his son Michael R. McGuire (Rachel Greene); his siblings, Denise Macdonald McGuire, Jacqueline McGuire, Janice McGuire Rohdin and Steven McGuire; and his sister-in-law Linda Wiedemann (Carl). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many well-loved cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home (59 Spruce St, Westerly, RI 02891).
