In the sacred silence of farewell, Linda is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, John F. Hancock and Cecelia Hancock. She is survived by: her husband Jeffrey Donohue of Tum; her daughter Angela J. Hancock (Nick Korytkowski) of Westerly; and her brothers, John Hancock of Waterford, CT, Brian Hancock of Groton, CT and Keith Hancock of Waterford, CT. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home (59 Spruce St, Westerly, RI 02891). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Pius X Church (44 Elm St, Westerly, RI 02891).
