He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Macomber and Helen Macomber (Johnson); his wife Mary (LoPriore); and his siblings, Marjorie Rathbun, Rodney and Stephen.
He is survived by: his children, Stephen Macomber (Heidi), Ken Macomber (Hazel), Rebecca Macomber, Karen Crockford (Wayne) and Doreen Blackwood (Jami); his grandchildren, Jonathan Macomber (Elle), Christopher Macomber (Stephanie Dinan), Emily Johnson (Chris Bleir), Elizabeth Russ (Matt), Kelsi Crockford, Nathan Macomber, Matthew Macomber, Amanda Blackwood (Austin Cilley) and Katelyn Blackwood (Kevin Knowles); and his great grandchildren, Brayden Robert Johnson, Elena Faith Bleir and Penelope Blackwood.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home (121 Main St, Westerly, RI 02891). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Central Baptist Church (16 Elm St, Westerly, RI 02891).
