He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mothers, Nancy Young of Westerly and Theodora Clemens of Westerly; his wife Mary Clemens (Herrick) of Laurel Road; his children, Tia Howell (Geoffrey) of Windham, CT, Bethany Romano (Vinny) of Westerly and John M. Clemens III (Julie) of Plainfield, CT.; his sisters, Nanci-Beth Routhier (George), Stacy Clark (James) and Katrina Ahern (Steve); his stepsister Denise DeCarolis (Jody); his stepfather Robert Young; his stepsisters, Robin Turano and Kim Morrone; and his nephew Christopher Clark. He was also cherished by four other stepsisters; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home (59 Spruce St, Westerly, RI 02891). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Andrew Lutheran Church (15 E Beach Rd, Charlestown, RI 02813).
