Jeannine Alice Wilk Obituary
We bid farewell to Jeannine Alice Wilk of Westerly, Rhode Island, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 30, 2024 at the age of 87. Jeannine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Lajeunesse and Rose Lajeunesse (Heroux); her husband John Wilk Sr.; her brothers, Robert and Ernest Lajeunesse; and her grandchildren, Sophia Wilk, Joshua Brophy and Mason Kingsbury III.
She is survived by: her close friend Ted; and her children, Rosemarie Kingsbury (Lance) of Ashaway, RI, Mark Wilk (Starr) of Ashaway, RI, John Jr. of Coventry, RI and Edward Wilk II (Debra) of Westerly, RI.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, dozens of great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home (121 Main St, Westerly, RI 02891). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
