In the sacred silence of farewell, James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that James' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustine Romanella and Paula Dennler. He is survived by: his children, James Romanella of Brooklyn, CT, Kaitlyn O'Neill (Paul) of Westerly and Nicklaus Romanella of Westerly; his brother Albert Romanella of Houston, TX; and his grandchildren, James, Nicklaus, Seamus and Sloane.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of James go to PVAMC, 830 Chalkstone Ave., Attn: Voluntary Service (135), Providence, RI 02908, to support local veterans, a cause dear to him.
