He was predeceased by: his stepson Ronald Malanowski; and his brother-in-law John A. Creatura. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Lavery (Malanowski); his children, Kathleen A. Lavery of Bridgeport, CT and James M. Lavery of Jacksonville, FL; his sisters, Sheila Creatura of Westport, CT and Kathleen Campion of New York City; his grandchildren, Shawna Lavery of Brooklyn, NY, Brandon Lavery and Ian Lavery; and his stepson Vincent Malanowski of Bridgeport, CT.
