Herbert S. Coope Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Herbert S. Coope of Westerly, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 27, 2025 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Herbert S. Coope to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Coope and Virginia Coope (Thurston); and his brother Donald L. Coope. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Coope (Buxton); his brother Peter Coope Jr. (Michelle) of Mystic, CT; his children, Ann E. Donlan Adaskaveg (Michael) of Tiburon, CA, Deborah Varnado (Jimmy) of Venice, FL and Timothy P. Donlan (Sandra) of Swanton, VT; his sister-in-law Nancy Bora of Essex Junction, VT; and his godson Joshua Coope. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and one nephew.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mystic Funeral Home (51 Williams Ave, Mystic, CT 06355). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
