Harvey A. Goddard Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harvey A. Goddard of Westerly, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Harvey shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Harvey farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Goddard and Grace Goddard. He is survived by: his wife Diane E. Goddard (Arruda); his children, Harvey Goddard Jr. of Westerly, Melissa Goddard of North Stonington and Kristen Johnson of New London; his brother Robert Goddard of Westerly; his grandchildren, Talan and Connor Douchette of North Stonington; and his in-laws, Russell, Denise Arruda and Sharon Arruda. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home (59 Spruce St, Westerly, RI 02891).
