He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Sr. Schwager and Jean Schwager (Ambot); his wife Madeline "Jo" Schwager (Uradnecek); his brother Thomas; and his grandson Evan.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey (Barbara), Lynne, Brian (Reanna) and Laura; his grandchildren, Tom (Meghan), Molly, Dylan, Ashlyn, Carly (Nic), Jennifer, Michael and Ryan; and his great grandchild William.
