It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald R. Cornell of Westerly, Rhode Island, born in Pawcatuck, Connecticut, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Cornell and Lucy Cornell (Smith); and his sister Priscilla. He is survived by: his wife Jean Linda Cornell (Surber); his children, Andrew (Tricia), Emmy and Amiee; his grandchildren, Leo, Griffin, Liam and Brock; and his siblings, Pete and Edith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home (121 Main St, Westerly, RI 02891).
