We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2024, at the age of 63, David Alan Sabala of Westerly, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though David Alan may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Laurie J. Sabala (Bassette); his parents, Robert J. Sabala and Clara L. Sabala (Kornak) of Windsor Locks, CT.; his children, Lindsey S. Moore (Jonathan A.) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Joseph D. Sabala (Elliot J. DeMello) of Warwick, RI.; and his siblings, Patricia Sederquist (Jonathan) of Harwinton, CT and Brian Sabala of Vail, CO. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to 'Stand Up For Animals' here in Westerly.
