He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Collins and Helen Collins; and his siblings, Tom, Bill, Mary and David.
He is survived by: his significant other Catherine Collins (Coogan); and his children, Cornelius B. Collins (Karen) of Cream Ridge, NJ, Brigid C. Caffrey (Mark) of Ridgewood, NJ, Cathleen M. Panowicz of Prairie Village, Kansas, John C. Collins (Nancy) of Providence, RI, Martha C. Sylvia (David) of Westerly, RI and Ann M. McCarthy (Scott) of Berwyn, PA.. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Clare Church (62 Crandall Ave, Westerly, RI 02891).
