He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Shea; his siblings, Bob Shea, Betty Urso and Marga Higgins; and his parents, Sebastian Shea and Marguerite Shea.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Shea of Pawcatuck, Rosie Arseneault (Tom) of McLean, VA, Maureen Pettini (Michael) of Stonington and Martin Shea (Rebecca) of Pawcatuck; and his grandchildren, Michael, Molly, Meghan (Ian), Mary, Keelin, Kip, Sabrina, Brigitte and Henry. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Michael Church, 60 Liberty St., Pawcatuck, CT 06379 in remembrance of Charlie.
