It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles John Delmonte of Westerly, Rhode Island, who passed away on February 20, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles John Delmonte to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Susan Delmonte (Servidio); his parents, John Delmonte and Angelina Delmonte; and his siblings, Frank "Speed", Joseph Delmonte, Nancy Vocatura, Julia Coletti and Mary LeClair.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Smyth (William) of Westerly, Chuck Delmonte of Westerly and Connie Birkbeck (Steven Hume) of Westerly; his grandchildren, Jessica Smyth, Jaclyn Rubino (Eric), Kathrine Surdyka (Andrew), Kristen Pace (Ralph), Lauren Birkbeck and Sophia; and his children, Phoebe and Parker Delmonte. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home (59 Spruce St, Westerly, RI 02891). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Pius X Church (45 Elm St, Westerly, RI 02891).
