She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Americo Petrocelli and Doris Petrocelli; and her grandson Abraham. She is survived by: her husband Robin R. Martell of Westerly; her children, Tyhesa Brown (David), Kimberly Martell (Douglas), Jason Martell (Melissa) and Abraham Martell (Joan); her daughter-in-law Jennifer Steadman; her siblings, Thayer Dietrick, Rick Petrocelli and Bob Petrocelli; her grandchildren, Matthew, Amelia, Evan, Hannah, Jack, Mason and Kodie; and her aunt Claire McParlin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA, Breast Cancer Research, or St. Jude Children's Hospital in Carol-lynn's memory.
