He was predeceased by: his siblings, Vernon "Buster" Charles, Joan Maggs and Sandra Wonder. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Charles (Herman) of New London; his children, Bradford L. Charles (Patricia) of Clarksville, VA, Laurie Palmer (Kerry) of Ledyard, CT and Jennifer O'Connor (Kevin) of Westerly; his brother Clarence Charles of Ashaway; his grandchildren, Alexandria, Joshua, Jeremy, Samantha and Gillian; and his great grandchildren, Kolton, Murphy and Wesley.
