It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alice L. Crandall (Westerly, Rhode Island), who passed away on December 16, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Dinwoodie and Hannah Dinwoodie; and her siblings, Edgar Dinwoodie, Alec Dinwoodie (Jackie), Arlene Desrosier (Midge), Claire Harvey (Russ), Lois Posillo (Tom), Donald Dinwoodie (Maureen), Leroy Dinwoodie (Betty) and Lillian Booth (Bill).
She is survived by: her children, Gail Hutchins (Conrad "Red"), Ted Crandall (Helga), Lori Crandall, David Crandall (Julie) and Rachel Sheldon (Chris); her grandchildren, Brandon Newell, Johnny Newell (Sarah), Corey Newell, Lydia Crandall Ferreira (Mike), Samantha Crandall Amaya (Alex), Rebekah Crandall, Allison Crandall and Nate Crandall (Tsering); her great grandchildren, Wylie Newell, Charlotte Giles, Marin, Asher, Ivy and Lincoln Amaya; and her husband John. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home (121 Main St, Westerly, RI 02891). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Franklin Lodge (20 Elm St, Westerly, RI 02891).
