He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Swanson and Margaret E. Swanson (Gill); and his sister Mary Gousie of Rhode Island. He is survived by: his wife Besides; his children, Brian Swanson of Coventry, Susan Doblmaier of Pennsylvania and Janet Swanson of Florida; his brother Thomas Swanson of Smithfield; his grandson Michael Doblmaier; and his brothers, James Swanson of Massachusetts, Robert Swanson of Massachusetts and Donald Swanson of Massachusetts.
