He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Allen and Edith Allen (Nelson); and his sister Diane Messier. He is survived by: his wife Denise Proulx-Allen; his son Shane Allen of Cranston; his granddaughter JoJo of West Warwick; his stepson Roland A. Proulx III (Elizabeth) of Cranston; his grandson Matthew; his stepdaughter Marisa Proulx; and his sister Donna Rude of Minnesota. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
