He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard LaPlante and Delores LaPlante (Carroll); and his son Randy L. LaPlante. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn LaPlante (Pacheco); his daughters, Sherry Hicks (David) and Elizabeth LaPlante; his grandchildren, Joshua Hicks, Christopher Bailey, Matthew Hicks, Casey LaPlante and Jaryn LaPlante; and his great grandchildren, Iszabella and Emily.
