Oates, Jr. (Kam) of Tennessee, Thomas P. Oates (Donna) of West Warwick and Elizabeth Bowie; his son-in-law Robert of West Warwick; his grandsons, Thomas Oates, II (Kristyn), Christopher Oates (Ashley), Brian Bowie (Gwen), Max Oates (Stacey) and Harris Oates; his great grandchildren, Caden Oates, Connor Oates and Piper Oates; and his pet Brandi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
