We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2021, at the age of 72, Robert P. Garafano of West Warwick, Rhode Island passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert P. Garafano to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasco Garafano and Natalie Garafano (Doria). He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kathy" Garafano (Pollard); his children, Kim Garafano (Stacie) of Georgia and Robert Scott Garafano (Dena) of Fall River; his granddaughter Miranda Nahmias; his brother Ronald Garafano (Jeanne); his sisters-in-law, Claire and Mary Pollard; and his niece Denise Fusco.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing guidelines followed at the visitation and funeral mass. His burial, in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston, RI 02920, or HopeHealth Hospice & Palliative Care RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.

“I was a friend from Jr. High, I went to invite him to a special show at Rhodes in Oct, and now it is all this. I am shocked, i did not see it, no one let me know, and the last time I talked to him he was in a hurry because he had another call, he taught me all I know about photography, I have taught my daughter all the stuff he taught me, me and him worked with Mr. Roberts in Bain to make three yearbooks, great fun. And we ran the movies in the Aud, we always had a great time!!!”
