He is survived by: his close friend Nancy Silva of Warwick; his children, Richard E. Patefield Jr. (Kim) of Coventry and Kathy A. Paul (Lee) of West Warwick; his grandchildren, Katie, Korey, Danielle and Mathew; his great grandchildren, Riley, Sabrina and Ellie; and his siblings, Stephen V. Patefield Jr. and Thomas J. Patefield.
Interment with Military Honors at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, will be private for the family. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, face masks and social distancing are required.
