He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia 'Sue' Cary (Short); and his parents, Walter H. Cary and Myra E. Cary (Raymond). He is survived by: his children, Mark D. Cary (Shawn) of North Kingstown and Robin Noel (Curtis) of Warwick; his brother Robert 'Bob Cary (Deb Grandy) of Toronto, Canada; his grandchildren, Francesca Cary, Jacob Cary, Madison Hanley, Andrew Noel, Charlie Desjarlais and Alicyn Noel; and his great grandchild Liam Raymond Macari.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated in Raymond's name made to Alzheimer's Association or to Saint Elizabeth Home (please use the designation "Other" and specify that donations are intended for 'The Cove', a special care living area for residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer's disease).
