He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley R. Kusiak (Dobrwado); his parents, John Kusiak and Felicia Kusiak (Szarek); and his siblings, Alice Rekas (John), Celia Ogrodnik Petrarca, Mildred Magiera (Victor) and Alfred Kusiak (Amelia). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
