He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey and Theresa; and his sister Gertrude Thornber. He is survived by: his children, John Stewart, Joseph Stewart, Maria Mongeau of Pawtucket and Rose Terrien of Pawtucket; and his sister Linda Sylvesta of Warwick. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
