He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Carlson and Melba L. Carlson (Puisipher); and his brother Lawrence Carlson. He is survived by: his wife Dianne M. Carlson (Sepe); his brothers, Earl Carlson, James Dolan and Robert Dolan; his sister-in-law Carol M. Machado (Arthur); and his nieces and nephews, Mary, John Bourque, Arthur Machado Jr., Richard Machado Sr. and Danielle. He is also survived by eight great-nieces and great-nephews.
