She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert and Lillian. She is survived by: her children, Mark B. Simpanen and Michelle B. Owens (Simpanen); her grandchildren, Erik Ocean, Evan Simpanen, Shania Simpanen and Mara Owens; and her siblings, Robert Bernier, Jr., Anna Reynolds and Bernadette Waters.
