She was predeceased by: her husband Walter M. Benson of Warwick; her parents, Arthur J. Carlson and Julia L. Carlson (Stuns); and her sisters, Helen, Nancy and Esther.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jennifer Lawless and Jason Lawless of Cranston; and her great grandchild Jacob Joseph Lawless of Lowell, Mass..
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home (659 E Greenwich Ave, West Warwick, RI 02893). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
