He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph E. Dowiot and Anna Dowiot (Corsi); and his child Gail Croce. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine E. Dowiot (Olney); his children, Ronald Dowiot (Roshelle) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Deborah Buxton (Paul) of Warwick and Kim Samos (Bart) of Providence; and his siblings, Robert Dowiot of North Kingstown and JoAnn Dowiot of Davie, FL. He is also survived by five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
