He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Gil (Furtado); and his parents, Jose Gil and Maria Gil (Sousa). He is survived by: his children, Dora Howe (Joseph) of Pascoag, Paul J. Gil of West Warwick and Lisa Figuerado (Dean) of Coventry; his grandchildren, Joseph, Jacob Howe and Dorian Figuerado; and his siblings, Maria Prudencio (Manuel Prudencio) of Coventry, Luis Gil of New Bedford, MA, Joao Gil of Terceira, Azores and Lucia Rocha (Francisco Rocha) of West Warwick.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, October 26, 2020 at 10:00 a. m. in St. Anthony Church, Sunset Avenue, West Warwick (all COVID-19 guidelines will be observed). Due to the pandemic visiting hours are respectfully omitted and interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers contributions to Home Health & Hospice Care of Nursing Placement, 334 East Avenue, Pawtucket, RI 02860 in his memory would be appreciated.
