He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Santangelo (Valenti); his parents, Aqualino Santangelo and Petrina Santangelo (Decesare); and his sister Josephine Bodo. He is survived by: his close friend Lynne Perry; his children, John Santangelo, Jr. of West Warwick and Toni Mouat (Travis) of West Warwick; his sisters, Anna Betz, Carmela Menard, Mary Donlevy of West Warwick and Theresa Messier of West Warwick; his grandchildren, Korey Santangelo, Jessica Nieto, Katelyn Mouat and Timothy Mouat; his great grandchildren, Ryker Dixon, Jiovanni Santangelo and Quinn Nieto; and his siblings, Luke Santangelo, Evelyn Lavoie, Christina Coppa and Henry Santangelo.
