He was predeceased by: his parents, Joao J. Calheta and Maria R. Calheta (Pimental); his grandson Donovan Martins; and his sister Maria L. Sousa. He is survived by: his spouse Ermelinda S. Calheta (Arraial); his children, Ana C. Martins (Carlos A. Martins) and Steven J. Calheta (Angela M. Calheta); his sister Maria J. Cabral; his grandchildren, Serena, Lucas Martins, Hallie and Landon Calheta; and his sibling Adriano J. Calheta.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, February 15, 2021 from 9:00-10:00 am in St. Anthony Church, Sunset Avenue, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am (all State Covid-19 guidelines will be observed). Due to the current pandemic restrictions, interment will be private for the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Anthony Church, 10 Sunset Avenue, West Warwick, RI 02893 in his memory would be appreciated.
