Helen Seelenbrandt Obituary
SEELENBRANDT, HELEN M. (ARMSTRONG) 92, of West Warwick, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. She was a daughter of the late William Charles and Myra Isabelle (Finlay) Armstrong. Helen was born in Ireland, before arriving with her family to Orange County, California in 1927.
In 1945, Helen made Rhode Island her home. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, country line dancing, playing the harmonica, and traveling to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN. She was a member of the Little Rhody Beagle Club in Warwick. She was the grandmother of (WWFD Lt.) Christopher M. Seelenbrandt and his wife Kerie of West Warwick, Greg M. Seelenbrandt and his wife Jenna of Glendale, AZ, and Matthew Cook.
Helen was the mother of Dennis L. Seelenbrandt of Thompson, PA and the late Cheryl Cook. She was the sister of Judy Fitschen, Gladys Armstrong, and the late Ruby, Charles, Ethel and Marjorie. Helen was the great- grandmother of Joelle, Elizabeth and Nicholas; and the great-great-grandmother of Addelyn.
