She was predeceased by: her husbands, Edward Furtado, Sr. and George Lafond; and her parents, Manuel Silva and Mary Silva (Rego). She is survived by: her children, Nadine Podgurski, Edward Furtado, Jr. and Paula Parlatti; her siblings, Eileen Godin and Thomas Silva, Sr.; and her grandchildren, Amy Muschiano, Marissa Molnar, Adam Molnar and Amanda Pietroforte. She is also survived by her eight great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Church (1 Sunset Ave, West Warwick, RI 02893). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:15 AM at the St. Mary Cemetery (70 Church St, West Warwick, RI 02893).

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Gloria's memory to St. Anthony Church, 10 Sunset Avenue, West Warwick, RI 02893, would be appreciated.
