He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Wheatley and Anne Wheatley (Laycock); and his son-in-law Stanley Kennedy Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Muriel E. Wheatley (Dame); and his children, George H. Wheatley Jr. (Angela) of West Greenwich, RI, Joseph J. Wheatley (Rita) of West Greenwich, RI, Karen A. Kennedy of Enterprise, AL, Elizabeth D. Wheatley of North Kingstown, RI and Susan Osbrey (Raymond) of West Greenwich, RI. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
