She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Costa and Frank Medeiros; and her siblings, Dorothy Coates and Colonel Raymond Mederios. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Coates and Stephen Coates; her daughter-in-law Rose-Marie Coates; her stepdaughter Karen Coates Howard of Mary's Mission Church; her grandchildren, Carol-Ann Silva, Leigh-Ann Renfro, Orlando Silva Jr. and Jeffrey Renfro; and her great grandchildren, Sophie, Avery, Lucas and Carter.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Iannotti Funeral Home (415 Washington St, Coventry, RI 02816). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Mission Church (70 Church St, West Warwick, RI 02893).
