It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ester T. Sousa of West Warwick, Rhode Island, who passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Edmundo R. Sousa; her parents, Antonio Mota and Maria Gloria Mota (Terceira); and her siblings, Norberto Mota, Manuel Mota, Maria Merces Vieira and Jose Mota.
She is survived by: her children, Olga Correia, Rosalina Silva, Joseph Sousa, Carlos Sousa, Madalena Arraial, Paul Sousa and Arthur Sousa; and her sister Evelyn Medeiros. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren.
